#FoodReview – Panoor Hotel, Al Qusais, Dubai

Panoor Restaurant Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Hunger was big, and I had decided before hand itself to be at Panoor Restaurant this day, as being in this locality and not going to a restaurant named after a place in my hometown is outright perfidious. Somebody yesterday just asked me why I haven’t been here yet, and I was too wondering why.

First impression was good. A bit cramped for space on the ground floor I felt, but that was fine for the time I reached there. Got my first awful sentiment when I saw food waste lying on the chair that I was about to sit.

Didn’t bother and just took another seat, where the waiter asked what I wanted. The maida eating Malayalee in me just woke up and I asked for Porotta. My stomach was howling with hunger, and any Malayalee would not order anything in those circumstances.

I was quite surprised that Porotta wasn’t there to eat. So went for Rumali Roti and Chicken Punjabi (because I didn’t want to try Hyderabadi or Chettinad, as it’s usually everywhere and have tasted countless times).

Waiter took special care to wipe the plate with a tissue, and this made me comprehend that the food on the chair would’ve just been a miss out.

After Roti and Punjabi Chicken, Taste wise, it was excellent, went on to order an appam too.

The bill, was reasonable, and an overall pleasant experience for Malabari Cusine. I would have rated 4 out of 5, but reducing half a point due to the initial hiccup.
